By placing an order on koiquebec.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. General These terms apply to all purchases made through Koi Quebec. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our site constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Eligibility We currently sell and ship live koi fish and pond products within Quebec, Canada only. Orders placed from outside Quebec will be cancelled and refunded.

3. Live Animal Sales All live koi fish are sold as living animals. By purchasing, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with shipping live animals, including stress and, in rare cases, mortality.

4. Live Arrival Guarantee We guarantee that your fish will arrive alive. This guarantee is subject to the following conditions:

• You must be available to receive the package on the selected delivery date.
• The package must not be left unattended after delivery.
• You must follow our acclimation instructions provided with your order.
• You must notify us within 1 hour of delivery with photographic evidence of any DOA (dead on arrival) fish.

Failure to meet any of these conditions voids the live arrival guarantee. We are not responsible for losses due to improper acclimation or delayed pickup.

In the event of a confirmed DOA, Koi Quebec will replace the fish with one of equal value. If no equivalent fish is available, a store credit equal to the value of the fish will be issued. No cash or payment refunds will be provided under any circumstances. Shipping costs are non-refundable in all cases.

5. Arrival Date Selection You may select a preferred arrival date at checkout. While we make every effort to honour your selected date, delivery dates are not guaranteed due to carrier delays or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Pricing All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes where required. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

7. Payment Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and Paypal.

8. Cancellations Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. Once an order has been prepared for shipment, it cannot be cancelled.

9. Limitation of Liability Koi Quebec's liability is limited to the purchase price of the order. We are not responsible for any indirect losses, including losses related to pond setup, equipment, or other fish in your pond.

10. Koi Development Koi are listed based on their appearance at the time of photography. Colour, pattern, and size may change as the fish matures. We make no guarantees about how any individual koi will develop over time. All sales are final based on the fish's appearance at the time of listing.

11. Individual Fish Listings Some listings feature photographs of a specific, individual koi. These listings are clearly marked as "You are purchasing the exact fish pictured." We make every effort to ship that specific fish. If the fish becomes unavailable prior to shipment (e.g., due to illness or death), you will be notified and offered a substitute of equal value, a store credit, or refund.

12. Variety/Grade Listings Some listings represent a variety or grade of koi rather than a specific individual. These listings are clearly marked as "Fish shown is representative of the variety." The fish you receive will match the described variety, size, and grade but may differ in exact pattern, skin type, and colouration from the photo.

Koi Quebec reserves the right to determine which listing type applies to each product. The listing type is clearly indicated on each product page.

14. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
