The clean, well-defined edges of the Hi pattern against the pure white ground give this fish a sharp, show-quality appearance. This fish measures approximately 10–11 inches — a large, slender and elegant specimen with excellent body length.

Its two-tone pattern with a strong head marking and flowing body patch is a hallmark of the Kohaku — the most iconic and beloved of all koi varieties, and a cornerstone of any serious koi collection.
